I first watched the 1998 version of Great Expectations on an airplane when I was a little kid. I don’t know how or why, but the green-hued sets stuck with me all this time! the ballroom fits right into the top of the dollhouse with two terraces on either side. I used mirrors on the back wall to mmake the space feel bigger and reflect the light of the surrounding windows. one of my favorite parts is the The spiral staircase — it is made from a wooden fan!
